Below are some helpful tips if you are in pain or have had an accident.
A knocked-out tooth
Place the tooth back in the mouth where it fell out (if possible), and bite down gently on gauze or a wet tea bag to hold it in place, being careful not to swallow the tooth. If this is not possible, place the tooth in a container and cover with a small amount of whole milk or saliva. The tooth can also be carried between lower lip and lower gum or under the tongue.
A lost filling
Temporarily seal the exposed cavity with a piece of sugarless gum or over-the-counter dental cement.
Toothache
Rinse your mouth with warm water and floss to remove food particles. If there is any swelling, apply a cold compress to the area.
Dental abscess
Contact our office immediately. If left untreated, an abscess can lead to a serious infection. Rinse your mouth with a mild saline solution of ½ teaspoon of salt in 8 ounces of water several times a day.
Loose crown
If a crown feels loose or becomes detached, carefully attempt to slip it back on. First, prepare the inside of the crown with over-the-counter dental cement, denture adhesive or even toothpaste. Otherwise bring the crown with you to our office.
Broken tooth
Save all pieces of the broken tooth and rinse your mouth with warm water to remove any fragments left. Apply a cold compress to the area.

I have been a patient here for a couple years and just recently had my wisdom teeth removed. Overall, I believe I had the best experience possible as everyone was extremely respectful and made me feel as comfortable as possible even in a time where I felt stressed going into it.
I had a really badly cracked tooth and they have been able to get me in quickly and fast track the steps to recovery for me. In under a month I’ve gone from being in so much pain I couldn’t sleep well from the tooth to having my root canal, temporary crown and now permanent crown. My favorite thing about this dentist is that they aren’t pushy about things you aren’t interested in doing with your teeth, especially where aesthetics are concerned. Overall I’d recommend them if you need quick and concise dental care from a friendly and helpful staff! Also as a wheelchair user I want to add that the space is accessible for my standard hospital style self propelled wheelchair, and the staff are more than happy to help if you have any trouble personally navigating the space. The door opens both ways in front and has no raise to the entrance, so it’s perfectly easy to get in and out of solo.

From the first appointment in the waiting room, the first few trips to this office were unforgettable. I filled out the new patient questionnaire and there were very personable questions and sections for you to express your anxieties or communicate your needs. The front office staff, dental assistants, and doctors are all welcoming, friendly, and you can tell they love their job. When I'm there, I never feel like a bother. I needed a root canal (my first one) and was pretty nervous. Everyone was comforting and kind. The consultation regarding the cost of treatment put me at ease because they were transparent about necessary procedures and the out of pocket costs. I was between choosing A+ Family Dentistry and another facility that quoted less for the root canal and crown treatment, and after the initial consultation, I couldn't stop thinking about how trustworthy and impressively comfortable I was with the people in this office.
